Well seems like its Hedenstad or Reitan fighting for the right back, and Meling and Alex for the left, as Kare already told he think of Skjelvik in the middle
Hansen
Hedenstad - Tore - Jorgen? - Meling
Jensen - Anders - Midtsjo
Helland - Lukas? - de Lanlay
Ostbo
Reitan - Rasmussen - Bjordal - Alex
Magnus - Lundemo - Gudi (Saeter - Solli)?
Jevtovic - Matti - Mush (Rashani - Helmersen)?
even the second unit could push for a title...
CB and ST positions to be decided, wings can always change. but need a stable striker, to feed and polish and sell overpriced at the end of the season again

The left centre back position doesn't seem decided yet. Rasmussen on the first team against FCK after a rest against Salzburg. |

What are the news on Lukas? I really am not able to understand when he will be fit to play or if he is out indefinitely? |

We don't know yet. Only thing we do know is that he's unfit to play at the moment. And will be for a while. Rosenborg hasn't decided yet on keeping him until he's fit, or sending him back to Portugal. Most likely it's an issue of money. Rosenborg don't want to pay for a player that's unfit. And is probably negotiating with Sporting Lisbon to get them to pay for him during his injury time. |

He`s injured more than he`s match fit, so this should hardly come as a surprise to anyone. Even though is`s just a "lårhøne" this time, or ijsbeentje as you call it. _________________ Agbogbloshie park inspector.

Only a lårhøne. A flesh wound it's the opposite of a lårhøne. |

GK Hansen - Ostbo - JFL
RB Hedenstad - Reitan
RCB Tore - Bjordal?
LCB Rasmussen? - Skjelvik
LB Melling - Alex
CDM Anders - Matti
RCM Mike - Marius?
LCM Fredrik - Stamenstro
RW Helland - Rashani
ST Bendtner - Bakenga
LW deLanlay - Jevtovic
Saeter - Helmersen - Botheim ut pa lan
Bakenga can place Helland as a first choice, not Rashani
Jevtovic can start till de Lanlay is back
So optimistic for this season

What a good game! I am hoping that Meling will come in handy and replace Alex, and Skjelvik is not one of the centre backs! Milan looked great so de Lanlay will need to be topp form to replace him
thank you Lord for this great win & start |

btw, anyone knowing what will happen when de Lanlay is back? it is good to have options up front but it will be hard to circulate and keep all front&wing players happy
Bendtner Helland deLanlay Milan Matti Bakenga Rashani Botheim Helmersen
seems overcrowded |

Well, Milan is only on loan out August, so we'll have Rashani/Helland on the right, De Lanlay/Bakenga on the left. Bendtner/Matti up top, while Botheim and Helmersen I reckon will probably go on loan somewhere to get playtime.
We're not even sure if Bakenga will extend his contract. |

Also, De Lanlay's football fitness is bound to remain seriously doubtful for quite some time after his injury is officially healed. When he first came to the club, it took him a few months before performing anything other than horrible, due to lacking fitness. And Matti may very well end up playing every other match as a midfielder anyway.
Come August, we may very well look like this:
Helland|? Bendtner|Botheim Rashani|De Lanlay
provided we don't elect or manage to sign Jevtovic permanently, and Bakenga doesn't renew his contract. That's actually a bit thin, especially considering Helland's injury proneness. |

A little bit of analysis after 5 games:
Hansen: The knock on the head worked well for him, but he still does not provide a sense of 'trustworthy keeper'.
Ostbo: Good backup, as far as I know. We will see how he performs sooner or later for RBK.
Hedenstad: Versatile and quality player. Attacking skills prove more dependable than defensive ones, still a good first choice. Like the runs to the line. Could do better with more confidence on his passing.
Reitan: Hope he will get more time, I believe he is capable of successfully backing and challenging Vegar.
Tore: He is the man, thanks to him the defensive line is much better. He could be more efficient with a more matching partner.
Skjelvik: Good enough but not enough. His lack of awareness will not be exposed in Eliteserien, but RBK will need a tougher defender for CL games. On Eliteserien does well on the aerial w Tore though.
Bjordal: Well only if you could add his qualities next to Skjelvik's, then it would give you a solid centre back. If Kare's 'two partners' thing is a thing, then it is sad for him not getting a chance w Tore.
Rasmussen: The only few times I watched this guy he showed glimpses of good defensive awareness. Yet he needs toughness and quicker use of ball.
Gersbach: He could not prove to be the first team choice, it is normal to doubt that he is. He usually is not much in the game, but he is young so there is room to build upon good qualities.
Meling: I really like how he stays in game and that has a very classy left foot. Lack of match fitness hits him at some points. That will be covered as he keeps on playing. Left wing lacks functionality as team is a bit more dependent on the right wing, but this can change if he gets used to Milan or Yann when he comes back.
Konradsen: Solid in front of the defence, yet something is missing in his offensive game. Still it feels good to have him in the middle defensively.
Mike: He seems a bit tired this year. But quality is timeless and he is a must-play at the moment. Hope he will get a bit more pace back as season proceeds. Then he could make more out of runs into the box.
Midtsjo: Always my favorite, does the best he can. He plays both sides really efficiently.
Lundemo: ? Hoping to see more soon, quite curious about how he will perform.
Matti: Dunno if I should write him in mid or forward? But he is a good option to have, and I bet he will score some crucial goals as the weeks proceed. Hard to analyse as he is literally everywhere.
Helland: I would have enjoyed him more if he wasn't a glass animal. So fun to watch him, so frustrating to see him go out of the game. One of the best offensive weapons in the team. Could go down to the line more often this season, though.
Milan: Can't tell if I like him in the format or not. He seems like a talented player, with a lack of fluidity. I like his defensive workrate though.
Lord: His first touches and ball distribution are perfect. Top class player. He does what he is asked for, I can see. And hopefully he will get even more and more involved.
Bakenga: Great bench force, always good to know you have him there. He has, and will prove useful at times of drought. He needs to time his runs better sometimes, though.
Rashani: The only player I want gone for sure. His physical and technical are not matching Rosenborg's quality and pace. I am sure he could be more appreciated elsewhere.
Yann: I hope he comes back ready (I mean 'ready' ready) for latest second half of the season, cause there will be need for depth as the frequency of games will get higher. |
