Enugu Rangers' leading scorer, Chikeluba Ofoedu on Tuesday took part in his first training session with Norwegian side, Rosenborg BK.

"It went very well. Great players and coaches, and I was very happy on my first practice," Ofoedu told the club's official website. On arrival, Ofoedu had to put up with long-term friend, John Chibuike. Ofoedu, who has scored ten goals this term in the Nigeria Premier League (NPL), is happy to reunite with Chibuike, a former Enugu Rangers' player. He also hopes the presence of his countryman will help him settle in and impress Rosenborg BK officials.

''He is the type of player who will fit in here. He can run, is strong, creating chances and scoring goals. If he works hard and believes in himself, he can do it. I look at him as my brother and will be very happy if he is successful,'' Chibuike told the official website, RBK.no.

"I trained with Rosenborg and I was told I impressed them but will have to wait for some time before a conclusion can be reached.

"I am back now to help my club to win the league after my few days’ absence. We are still on top and that is where we shall be by the time the league season will end," Ofoedu, who has scored 10 league goals, said.
