A good trip to Sandefjord, all went to plan and 3 points.

Not the best match I have ever seen but we did enough. Was good to get the second goal so the last five minutes weren't a nightmare.

I have to assume that Sandefjord have come a long way in a short time and I can see why they are moving ground as you wouldn't be allowed fencing like that in the away section in the Conference in England! I was also amused to see that it was the record attendance of 7197, I think, when the ground is only supposed to hold 7000.

Time to keep up the efficient if not sparkling performances and see if that is good enough to win the league.

Will do it again next year assuming Sandefjord stay up and it kicks off at a suitable time.

Brann won tonight 1-2, Winters for Brann, then who else but Nannskog for Staebek.

Then, Charlie Miller scores 87th minute winner. Still, RBK second and i believe the game against Brann in Bergen on the 22nd will decide the title.

Damn that Glaswegian bastard!

Sunday's match is postponed because of several sick Tromsø players.

With the oh so important game versus Brann approaching, this is not a good thing. Of course, we have one game less than them, so virtually the gap between us and Brann is remaining identical. But it just looks a bigger gap now, which can without even wanting or realising it, put a bigger pressure on the players... I'd have prefered having played the game and won it, to just keep that distance to Brann very close.

TOP OF THE LEAGUE, WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE !!!!

This feels so good, back where we belong!! Now if we beat Brann, that's a serious gap with few games to go. If we win this game, we basically win the league. 14 out of 15 and back in Europe... Superb! Cool

Remember Hearts thought they were in the Champions League and now they're out altogether!

Europe is tough now and there will be two difficult qualifiers to get past. But less of Europe and more of Tippeligaen, good to be back at the top although Brann will fight all the way.

Great win over Lyn tonight!

Caught the game on TV2, very interesting match where RBK didn't play overly well but got the three points.

Marek Separa is a very good player and Iversen scores again!

All the pressure is on Brann now. One question i have, why was Torum in the dugout tonight? is Hogmo coming back this season?

Høgmo is back at work but has decided to postpone taking charge until after the league is over. He'll be back for Royal League etc, in November.

Let's ask Trondheim City Counsil to build a statue for Iversen on the market place in town. How often did that man get us through a difficult game this season? What a superb asset for the team!

Now please let Brann lose tonight and that championship is ours Cool

http://en.wikipedia.org/w...ore_Kvarme

Bjørn Tore Kvarme (born 17 June 1972 in Trondheim) is a Norwegian football defender currently with Rosenborg BK. He is usually deployed in the centerback or rightback positions.
"Kvarme" has played in most of this season's league games.

Karim Essediri:

Karim Essediri (born July 29, 1979) is a French-Tunisian footballer. He currently plays for Rosenborg B.K. in the Norwegian Premier League.
Essediri has had some playing time on the pitch, but usually isn't in the starting 11. He features more frequently in the 2. team.

Steffen Iversen:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w...en_Iversen

Steffen Iversen (born November 10, 1976 in Oslo) is a Norwegian football player currently playing for Rosenborg. The son of legendary footballer Odd Iversen, Steffen is considered by many, to be a "trønder" denoting someone from the regions around Trondheim where his father played for Rosenborg.
Iversen has been brilliant this season, with 14 goals scored, and has been a first choice throughout the autumn half.

Thanks for the info, it's a game I was playing against my friend and I didnt understand why half of the first squad list I never even heard of.

There was a link that I think 2mas gave me which had the squad that played against Maccabi, does anyone still have it?

So how is the situation now with the clash vs Brann? We have a much better goal difference than them, so even if we'd lose (let's hope not, but even if it'd happen) we end up with equal points but still are in front of them right? Too bad HamKam wasn't a win, otherwise we could have celebrated the league championship right at the stadium of the bitter rivals...

Oh well, winning this weekend and it's 99% sure RBK

The situation before this round:

Code:

1. Rosenborg 23   13   7   3   39-21     46p
2. Brann     23   13   4   6   36-27     43p

RBK has +18 goals, Brann has only +9. In other words, if we lost 0-5 in Bergen, Brann would claim the #1 spot. Anything better than a 0-5 loss means we're still in the lead.

But a resounding 5-0 win over Brann would definitely be better. Hope we can shut those redshirted bastards up for good this season.

Is there any TV channel broadcasting it which has (paid or free) online broadcasting?

If we lose 5-0 in Bergen... that is so unlikely I'm paying the whole of Kjernen a crate if that happens Razz

I thought you would like to actually qualify for the Champions League rather than to not survive the qualifiers? Wink

Just kidding... next time we meet it will be in the actual Champions League and not in the qualifiers!!
