Per-Mathias Høgmo returns to Lerkendal 3 October, as scheduled.

Meanwhile Knut Tørum has led the team to six wins in a row in the league. The last weeks rumors had it that Høgmo would extend his sickness leave till the end of the season, but now the assistant coach has to go back to his old position.
"I have shown that I'm capable of doing this job, but I came to Trondheim to assist Per-Mathias and see no problems in working for him again," Tørum said.

Per-Mathias Høgmo is back as head coach today, but opts to let his two assistants continue the marvellous job they have done so far.
"It is very important for me to find a good solution. I have been out for nine weeks, and it is only four games left. Seen in this light it is natural that Knut and Trond continue to have the responsibility for matches and training sessions for the remaining games," Høgmo tell.

Will Hogmø remain with the club in a different role?
I'd say the decision is logical. Knut Tørum did a fantastic job, so it is well-deserved to be promoted to head coach permanently, and I'm sure the players won't disagree here. Never change a winning team, after all. Respect as well to Hogmø for seeing the club's general well-being as more important than his own success and glory. I do hope he will stay with RBK in a different function. _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

No, Høgmo will quit football altogether. He has received several exciting job offers the last weeks according to himself. |

"I wish to try a new way. The choices were either to continue as coach or work with organisation and leadership. I have recieved a lot of interesting inquires the last time," Per-Mathias Høgmo explains.

Seems a little weird though does it not? He thinks he can land a job outside of football for a public/private organisation?
Goodluck to him, probably best for both parties i guess. Trond Sollied will come back to Norge and RBK should get him. |
