Im from Honduras and the news here is that ALEX may play for ROSENBORG...

As an OLIMPIA Fan I hate to see ALEX go.. But if the oportunity is good for HIM and the TEAM i guees we gonna have to let him go.

He is a Midfielder(creative) With a strong Kick, good passing the ball..

Honduran players may not be famous like argentinians or brasilians but lately we been sending good players to all around the world, palacios(tottenham) figueroa and thomas( wigan, england) SUAZO Tranfer from INTER to catania... EMILIO IZAGUIRRE celtic from scotland... LOZANO valencia from SPAIN.. we some more in poland, hungary, china, USA, MEXICO..

U need to know that alex is just 19 years old... he may not be a world class star right now but it could be a real GOLD mine for the future..

He can play left, right and central midfielder.. hes like a XAVI ALONSO type of player. Hes weeknees i'll say is that hes not to fast..

I really dont know if its a 100% deal.. but as far as i know someone from the rosenborg team was here saturday watching alex play..

I really dont want alex to leave... he is a player that in 2 or 3 years could be a lot better.. and to tell u the true im sorprise olimpia is tring to put a player in norway... most of our players go to ENGLAND, ITALI and lately spain.

just needs experience.. remember that he never played in another country..

OUR best olimpia player at this moment is number 32 garcia(black guy) Hes fast, Strong, good passing the ball, he can score too.. hes got more the 50 games with the national team, the only thing is that hes 27 year old.

Kommentarene under artikkelen tyder på at de (fansen) har stor tro på denne karen. Noen sier at de helst vil beholde han ett år til før de selger ham for de tror han vil utvikle seg veldig. De fleste sier han hører til i en av de større ligaene, men de fleste erkjenner at et steg til RBK uansett vil være et godt valg av ham for å komme seg dit - så lenge Olympia får en god pris for ham.

I've got some additional questions, if you don't mind answering.

Does he have the ability to move past his opponent? Does he do any dribbling, or is he strictly a passer of the ball?

Do you know what kind of transfer fee Olimpia is likely to settle with? Are we talking 1 million USD?

A pity that he has to spend a couple of years in Norway before eventually (hopefully) moving on to a bigger league, but as you say, considering his age and the non-european experience, the bigger leagues are probably not ready to make a move. I wish though, for his sakes, that he would find a club with better teammates, since we are in pretty deep shit at the moment. At least the chances of first team appearances are pretty high.

Tranfer fee.. umm in 1999 olimpia sold SUAZO to cagliari from italy for 3 million $... but he was like one of the best players ever born in Honduras.. cagliari sold suazo to INTER for 16 millions i think.

Palacios from tottenham... when olimpia mad that tranfer to wigan i think they paid like 1 million and a half.. then they sold him to tottenham for 17 million.

But ill say tranfer should be around 1 or 2 million..
