It's norwenglish because it sounds "krøkkete" (en: awkward), vs. "to your liking". I have never heard anybody say "to your taste" ever. I have heard "suits your taste" and "to your liking". Frequently.

Bottom line: it is an expression, but not commonly used. Change to "liking" instead so we can finish this abnomination of a thread.

If BBC used the expression it is proper english and then some. And here the debate ends.

"Krøvel" is on the bus to Trondheim tonight, and I'm busy too. Anyone willing to translate this article into English?

If there is anyone, please post your translation in this thread. Thanks in advance!

Rosenborg are playing against Olympiacos without having had a "sparring partner" to test their shape the last three weeks, but Per-Mathias Høgmo has tried to make the best of it.

I should have done this years ago, but now you finally can find a search box in the English menu. Enjoy!

Just a suggestion: I think it'd be nice if the site would offer a very small part of info in English as well for the foreign fans. This can be very basic: just a preview of the weekly game, and a small match report. This could be very useful for us foreign fans, as we now rely entirely on the messageboard for the latest news...

I know the latest news is translated in english on the site, but I'd say a sort of match preview and report of every game would be very handy -- something more match-orientated.

Maybe in the future an English-language fansite could be set up with redirection to this forum?
And that can maybe be the start of a foreign supportersclubs to group all RBK fans abroad, with an annual trip to Lerkendal and meet-ups for European away games in the countries where members are residing...

PS: this is just a suggestion, no complaining about the current site, as it's already very nice to see this amount of info available in English Cool

Among the things listed up, the only thing missing is match previews. The reason for this is that the translator often chooses to take the weekend off. You have always been able to read match reports.

I want to thank all the man who are working at this fantastic website. Especially because it is in English!

I have asked the official Rosenborg BK website (www.rosenborg.no) many times to translate there site in English. They have confirmed that they want to do that, but after 1,5 year there is still not much going on. I see they allready have installed a English flag, but no signs of translation yet.

Thanks to rbkweb.com we foreign people are informed well and have a great meeting place here. I am a hugh RBK fan, but they way RBK reacts on foreign fans is a bit disgracefull to me.

Well done mates from the WWW.RBKWEB.COM

Yes, they do a great job! Especially Thomas Myren, the owner. I've heard they are going to translate rbk.no this summer. It's about time.

Will they be updating and translating regularly? I doubt it.
