Hi!
Vegard Heggem are not playing football anymore. He has retired from professional football because of his injury.
Øyvind Leonhardsen is currently on a free transfer. He haven't found any interested club after he left Villa. Also he is currently injured, as far as I know.

We might as well mention that Heggem never said that's he's retiring! He's just having a break from soccer. For the moment he's looking for a spark so he can go back and play some more soccer. _________________ Lunna i RBK-buret! |

If the answer is yes, since when is he injured ?
I know he didn't play last season because of he was injured. |

Surely a player with the class of Leonhardsen would help and interest us! Why doesn't Rosenborg management bring him in? |

Yes, he is. The doctors have told him to take a year's break, and see what his situation is like next summer. Rosenborg have already said that Vegard is welcome to train together with the first team squad whenever he feels.
But right now, he's kind of retired. He actually works on his family's farm in Rennebu - south of Trondheim.

We have enough old players! We don't need another 30+ midfielder, we already have plenty: Ørjan Berg, Roar Strand and Odd Inge Olsen. Instead of bringing in Øyvind Leonhardsen, Rosenborg instead will try to get hold of some younger talents.
I support this, even though "Leo" was my favourite player when he played in Rosenborg some ten years ago. |

Leo is maybe not so interesting for Rosenborg, but Heggem was one of the best back-talents Norwegian football has trained. If he EVER returns from his injury, I would love to see him in black and white.. _________________ Hamarkameratene |

I would certainly not. It only seems like a couple of years ago since he defeated Milan. _________________ Rosenborg - Ingen over, ingen ved siden |

Yeah, I know what you mean. That's actually almost 10 years ago! _________________ Det er bedre å stupe ut i smørøyet enn å gå rundt grøten! |
