Rosenborg and FCK have met only once in official matches, in the Royal League 2004/05:

- FC København - Rosenborg 2-2
- Rosenborg - FC København 0-1

The 4-3-3 experiment against Valencia is abandoned, and it is back to 4-4-2 tomorrow. This gives Andreas Nordvik a place in the team:

Rune Jarstein

Mikael Lustig - Andreas Nordvik - Alejandro Lago - Mikael Dorsin

Roar Strand - Vadim Demidov - Alexander Tettey - Per Skjelbred

Steffen Iversen - Didier Konan

Press kit: FC København - Rosenborg

Assistant coach Trond Henriksen admits the fact it has ben dubbed the "Battle of Scandinavia" is the least of their worries.

"We're not thinking about that," he said. "We're preoccupied with giving a good performance and hopefully winning.

"It's been a tough period for us with a string of successive defeats, and it's important we end the season on a positive note.

"I think it's important for the team, the club and the fans that we manage to get a good result in this match."

Since Brugge managed 1-1, it wasn't the FCK goal which ruined our chances of going through.

But it was nevertheless irritating. Iversen had watched Antonsson the whole match, and on the first corner after Iversen had left the pitch due to the knee injury, the Swede scored. Jarstein should also had done better.

We missed one seeding point, but at least no other Scandinavian club could claim they are better than us. Smile

Yep. Disappointing we didn't make it although as good as it would have been, I don't think we are good enough to make any real progression in this tournament at this moment. Plus, it will give us more time to prepare for next season.

I had a quick look at VG yesterday and it would seem Jarstein is getting a hard time again. I haven't seen video of the game or the incident which lead to FCK's goal but he does seem to be a quite an unlucky 'keeper. Hopefully, he will improve as he could be a very good goalkeeper due to his natural ability and presence/height.
