Posted: 27.06.2008 00:16 Post subject: anyone has a spare bed or sofa in Oslo? (or knows someone?) |
|
|
I am in Oslo while typing this, as I have a job interview tomorrow. I normally fly back on Saturday morning but hopefully there is someone who can offer a spare couch/bed/mattrass for one or two nights? If so, please email me at gerrit@gerrit-travels.com so that I can change my flight ticket in time.
Hopefully someone can help me so that I can spend the weekend in Oslo If anyone would know people in Oslo, or has an account on VG forum where there are thousands of people, then maybe I could be lucky, change my flight ticketand stay a tiny bit longer
Thanks in advance. _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

Har du ingen som han kan levere nøkkelen til da?
Gerrit I know a hotel that costs about 150kr a night if you really want to stay. Not the most luxurious, but a nice bed and it's breakfast included.
I don't remember the name atm. But I'll try to find as soon as possible. |

Well, I could send back the keys per post or leave them with your neighbour if this would allow me to use the apartment. That is, IF you trust me for it and if it is really not a bother. It would be really cool though!!
I can change my flight tickets up to 30 minutes before departure but obviously cannot wait that long before going to the airport. So if anyone can help, please let me know by this evening (Let's say 21:00 or 22:00)
Thanks in advance guys!
PS: the job interview went well but I get the results next week only. They did seem enthousiast. I just don't dare to jump for joy before having final results. I hope it works out so that I can move to Norway next month.
PS II: if someone'd have an account on that huge vg.no forum, maybe there is someone with a spare bed? Because there are so many members there, at least someone must have a place?? The company only pays until today because of the interview, so if I want to stay the whole weekend in Oslo I need another play to sleep... _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

I will check that. Is there any other cheap hotel (just in case they'd have no rooms or so)?
Or is there nobody who has an account on vg.no forum who could ask for a bed or couch?
If not, I better fly back I guess unless a really cheap hotel comes up. I have to save money just in case I'd get the job you know. The relocation will cost me quite some money, paid with pleasure but still... Paying that + another 2 hotel nights is already harder.
If anyone could ask at vg.no or if anyone knows a really cheap hostel... _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

Anker Hostel has a pretty cheap offer:
Bed in 5- or 6-bedded dorm NOK 200/210
Don't think you kan find anything better than that. _________________ Det er bedre å stupe ut i smørøyet enn å gå rundt grøten! |

Gerrit, you can stay at my place if you want. It's just a small flat, so don't expect anything major, but you can borrow my friend's bed since he's not there this weekend. I'll even offer you breakfast in the morning if you're nice
However I'm in Tromsø this week from Wednesday to Saturday, and I'm arriving in Oslo late Saturday.
I've sent you an e-mail through which you can contact me. _________________ Nils Arne Eggen. |

I am meanwhile back from Oslo and waiting for feedback from the company. They told "early next week" so that should be tomorrow or maximum Wednesday I guess. I am a bit nervous but, I did the best I could during the interview and it's out of my own hands now. So it's just waiting and hoping for the best I guess... _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!
