Hi Everybody,

You will play us (NAC Breda) in the Intertoto, We lost 6-0 at NEC tonight so the game in Breda doesn't matter anymore. We finished 3th in the league. but then get beaten three times in the play offs which decide the European spots.

If you have any questions about the club/city/how to get here, please ask. We are planning to come over to Trondheim in July.

How is that possible? You were favorites by far.

Don't like this. NEC seemed like a far easier opponent.

NEC is very good the last months. Of the last 14 games, they won 13 and a draw against PSV Eindhoven.

So after our defeats in the first 2 rounds, we were not really favourites anymore. Our normal season was amazing, finishing 3th but at the end we only get Intertoto, because FC Twente and Heerenveen have better players.

To be honest, RBK is not doing well at the moment? Why's that?

Incompetent coach. Our new headcoach comes first in ten days. And our temporary coach is totally incompetent. What coach only uses one sub when the team are loosing. He have done that two loss in a row.

I consider Rosenborg and NAC Breda to be solid teams, maybe at approximately the same level of valour. I'm sure we're going to have two interesting games. Tommel'n opp! May the best team win!

To be honest, I see Rosenborg as favorites.

We have now our summerbreak and several players will leave. This Intertoto game will be our first match with a new team. And because we don't have much financial power for a NL club, it will not be a better team. The 3th place of this season, is the best ever, normally we are only a midtable team.

The good news is, that our 6-day trip to Norway likley goes on. Cool

Are you guys driving car?

Which players are (likely to be) sold? Is it the bigger Dutch clubs which are "fishing"?

Midfielder Molhoek (our best player) was loaned from AZ and will return. our Danish left back Mtiligia (former Feyenoord player) most likeley will leave. And quite some romours about defensive midfielder Stam (Feyenoord, Twente and Heerenveen) and our striker form Ghana, Amoah (former Dortmund player).

The contract of our head coach was not extended by our board, now in talks with Red Star Belgrad. His assistent coach is wanted by Feyenoord.

We will fly to Oslo, and go further by train. Plan is to stay the weekend in Trondheim and after that 2 more days in Oslo.

If I had still lived in my native Belgium this would have been an easy trip for me to go to Breda.

You know, those playoffs are really bad. You finished 3rd and you get no European ticket, that is just wrong. In Belgium they now also want to introduce a playoff system but even a more ridiculous one which (in the most unlikely event) could lead to the nr 3 in the league missing Europe while the nr 14 from the league goes into Europe: the system would basically have 2 or 4 teams having a play-off for the championship and the numbers 3 to 14 (or 5 to 14, depending on how many would play the championship playoffs) would have a playoff for the UEFA Cup tickets.

I do think we are favourites but the most stupid mistake we could make is underestimating NAC. They may not be a tradition powerhouse like Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV but their 3rd position in the league cannot be a coincidence so they must be quality team right now. But based on experience and actual players, I think we are slightly favourites as long as we approach this game well. It is our last resort to avoid a season without European football, so I hope we can overcome NAC.

When is this game played exactly?

19 og 20 July in Breda and 27 July in Trondheim.

The NAC fans say 19 July is most likely because of their tradition of playing Saturday evenings; the home team decide Sat. or Sun. in the Intertoto Cup. Idea

I may be in Norway the date of the home fixture but not near Trondheim Sad Is there an Oslo based fanclub that maybe organised a carpooling or bus?

PS a nice trivia is that NAC's full name is NOAD ADVENDO Combinatie.
NOAD stands for "Nooit Opgeven Altijd Doorgaan" (Never stop, always keep going) but I am not sure what ADVENDO is representing. Razz

ADVENDO: Aangenaam Door Vermaak En Nuttig Door Ontspanning

(English: Pleasant for its entertainment and useful for its relaxation)

(Already mentioned on the front page: NAC Breda blir siste hinder)

Most likely the game will be on 19 July 19.30. Indeed our tradition of "Avondje NAC" (Evening NAC) where the game is the start of a good night out in the city.
We are more famous about our atmosphere than our good football. Smile
Hope that many will make the trip to Norway. We don't play UEFA Cup / Intertoto very often.

Most Special game of that season (for me), beating Ajax 4-2 at home in the Cup, in a great atmosphere. recommended Cool

Well, you better beat Akranes, otherwise We will be in Trondheim and my club is in Lithuania, all bookings are not refundable. Wink

For travelling to Breda you might consider flying to either Germany or Belgium and take a train from there to Breda. Especially the flights to Germany are cheaper compared with the flights to the Netherlands.

I'm working up in Rotterdam and wish to see this match. I'm a Norwegian Rosenborg supporter. I just wonder how I can by tickets to the Rosenborg fileld/area for this match.

How many RKB fans will there be in Breda?

Not sure about Breda fans in Norway, think 100-200 hopefully more but it is hard to say.

Don't know. There are quite a few Norwegians living in the "wider" Benelux incl. Western parts of Germany, so I guess some of those will show up. They usually do - e.g. in Eindhoven and Dortmund some seaons ago.

Hi,

If you want to buy tickets for the match NAC Breda - Rosenborg you can go to a Primera shop in any part of the Netherlands, also in Rotterdam. You can check at www.primera.nl

If you want to buy a ticket for the away section you can ask so in this forum

http://www.derat.nl/int/n...orum_id=60

People of NAC itself will answer your question.
