I will say Malmö is at least one stage below Rosenborg. Their European experiences is almost nothing. The two matches against Maccabi Haifa will be very hard for them.

RBK did by the way meet Malmö twice in the Scandinavian Royal League this winter. At home we won 2-0 and at away we lost 2-4 (click links for highlights from the two matches).

Just how good is Maccabi Haifa anyway, pardon my ignorance but I've never heard of them. After reading the trash in the other thread, I will certainly be going for Malmo.

Rosenborg played Maccabi Haifa last year in the qualification for Champions League. We won 2-1 at Lerkendal and the away game turned out to be a real thriller:

RBK were down 2-0 after 90 minutes but scored during injury time and extra time:
2-1 Brattbakk
2-2 Braaten
2-3 Berg

One of the most exciting moments in RBK's history!

Anyway... I'm not convinced that Malmö is going to beat Maccabi.

Maccabi Haifa have actually beaten Man Utd in Champions Leagues groupface. It do belong to the story that Man Utd already where through to the second round at this point, and thereby used a "B-team" in Israel, but the point is that Maccabi actually did beat them, and took thrid place in the group beacouse of it. So Maccabi is a rather good team, but they have lost a couple of the top-players from the team who did beat Man Utd, f. ex. to the norwegian club Ham-Kam.

I believe Maccabi Haifa and Malmø F.F to be teams of even skills. I live most of my time in copenhagen and therefore I have the opportunity to visit Malmø FF's homegames frequently. They are a fairly good team, and with players like Patrick Anderson (F.C Barcelona a.o) and Afonso they have som real quality players. So it is no easy walkover for Maccabi Haifa.
