We played poorly in the first half, whereas we didnt create much. We played considerably better in the second half, and with a little more killerinstinct it would have been 1-1. All in all we where found wanting today.
On the bright side Demidov was by far our best player, and seems like very good defender for the future.

Kone hit the post.

Konan, the player who was nominated for the best player from Africa award along with Drogba. He is far better than Kone at the moment and he has a great potential.

A bad first half destroyed Rosenborg's hope of advancing in the UEFA cup.

My bad, commentator thought it was Kone also. Speaking of him, he looked well out of shape last night. Konan isn't a striker though is he, where is his best position?

Sappy's freekick was a decent effort but the keeper made it look more dangerous than it was. Mutu looked class.

There is still another 90 min to go, unless I am very much mistaken... Rolling Eyes

I don't get to see RBK much these days (outside of season) but I was actually rather impressed. Playing against a quality side from Serie A in early February, fielding a brand new side as you lost many and vital players in the last 6 months of 07, you still put up a decent fight. Fiorentina are most likely to go through, but fromw what I saw there should be no reason to give up and play dead just yet.

And whatever the outcome, I look forward to see more of Nordvik and Demidov in the season to come Tommel'n opp!

Didier Ya Konan is best as a attacking midfielder (Marek Saparas role), but he can play as a striker also.

I was following your game and got sad when Fiorentina scored, but still they are a tough team from a good league and a 1-0 lose is not something unbeatable.
Just thinking of it RBK has 1 stage to pass to be exactly where Maccabi failed last year, hope they didn't give up Smile

Good luck.

GA; great to see you online again, mate! Cool

I think 0-1 is not a disaster, the way we played the first half is something else but the result in itself... well, it isn't good but also not too bad. Fiorentina is from one of the best leagues in the world, while we haven't even started our season yet. We were underdogs from the first minute on, and losing 0-1 is not a dramatic result.

I don't think we should give up. If we score early in Firenze, then Fiorentina may get nervous and give room for counter attacks. I think we still have about 10% chance to proceed. Not much maybe, but also not chanceless. We got nothing to lose anymore, so let's go to Firenze and try to make the impossible possible.
