I need to know some details about the Norwegian top league:
- Is your league closed or semi-closed? (Are teams going up/down after each season?)
- What are - in your oppinion - Pros and Cons of your system?

We'are "all open"!  Two teams relegate, and the 3rd last meets the bronze winners in 1st division in play off games. |

Ørjan Berg is still going strong, and plays for us still. Altough, injuries has ruined his season a bit so far, but, I would guess that he will come back stronger than before.

More: Ørjan Berg`s contract is soon expiring (correct me if I`m wrong 2mas), and he is tempted to finish his carrier in his birth-club Bodø/Glimt. In my point of view, Ørjan still has one, maybe 2 seasons left before he should retire, but I see it as reasonable that he would end his carrier playing along with his brother Runar Berg, in Glimt.

Yes, to play in the top league(s) the clubs have to meet certain economic criteria and various regulations regarding bookkeeping, athletic demands, club organization, etc. So I suppose you could say it's "semi-open." |

Very interesting, thanks. Do you know of any sources where I could get more details about these criteria and regulations?
Regarding Örjan: quite amazing, I thought he d' retired long ago! |
