Iceland is one of the countries, along with Greenland and Sweden, that would interest me to move to in case I would not find a job in Norway. I am desperate to move to the nordics before the end of 2008 and Norway is my big dream and my nr 1 destination. However, if I would not find a job in Norway, then another nordic country would be a nice intermezzo (while waiting for an opportunity in Norway itself)

But it seems the labour markets in Iceland and Greenland are really restricted for foreigners. Apart from a very few hotels needing staff for the summer, it seems Iceland or Greenland have no jobs at all where you don't need to know the local language. Sweden may be easier, I am not sure.

But I hope to get into Norway, that is and remains my biggest dream of all.
