Gerrit, actually Lars never said he wanted to move back to Canada. It was just a romour. Therefore I never mentioned it in any of my articles.

Ivorian teams are quite well-wanted for partnerships, in Belgium there is a team (Lokeren I believe) as well who have a deal with a team from Abidjan. The Abidjan team even has the same shirt sponsor as the Belgian team, even though the company has no offices in Africa

Generally though I am quite sceptic about partnerships between clubs. I have seen many partnerships occur and only a few of them turned out beneficial for both teams involved.

His girlfriend came to Romania. Of course I'll keep you posted about Hirschfeld if you want. I'm excited too to see how he will be doing here at CFR Cluj.
And about ASEC... we have a partnership with them to sign many young Ivorian players. Kone Koumatien Emmanuel (20 years) already signed for us and other 4 will join shortly. They will all go to our newly founded satellite, CFR II (who sadly has to play in the 4th league for now, but they will make it on top in short time) Our president, Iuliu Muresan, who yes, is a big part of our team, said that Kone might even make it right now in the first team because he is very valuable.
And I think that partnership are always very useful to make... we have very good relationships in Portugal and, more recently, in Argentina, were we have a first choice to buy with Lanus, the Apertura champion. It pays to have partnerships but it all depends on who runs your club... Iuliu Muresan is always great on negociatiating with clubs and players, that's why we got Hirschfeld.

Well, you payed more than we expected for Hirschfeld. He only had one more year left of his contract and we had already bought a new first choice.

Rosenborg: - We are getting a lot of money for him.

But he is a great purchase.

I hereby want to thank Lars for two great years in Rosenborg! After watching Jamtfall, Johnsen etc. is was really good to have a stable goalkeeper who didn't make mistakes in every second match.

Also thanks for making up your mind in an early stage (in contrast to Dorsin, Koppinen etc.), giving Rosenborg the possibility of finding a replacement in Jarstein and then providing money to the Jarstein transfer by selling you.

Thank you very much for that 2mas! I'll share that at my site. I watched the one with Yssouf Kone at Youtube, and after viewing that I thought that Kone is a must-have. Great job for Rosenborg for signing such a player! I hope that CFR Cluj will improve it's marketing like Rosenborg. Rosenborg TV is a separate TV channel? Sorry for the offtopic again.
Edit: Wow, Lars says "you know" for 50 times! Pretty cool, looks promising already.

Yep, the Romanian's seem to be investing heavily these days. (Which might be a shame in a way as it might affect their quality exports.)

Still, Jarstien is a fantastic signing for RBK. I think he is a keeper tha we can sell on for a large amount of money. I can see him eventually going abroad, hopefully after some years of great service for RBK.
