We do not deserve to qualify and may I take this opportunity to wish Turkey all the best in Austria and Switzerland. I see Mr Hareide is contemplating quitting his career as a coach/manager if he leaves his job as a manager for Norway this week, but I can't help but to think of that as a promise rather than a threat. He completely lost the plot this time around, handing out the captaincy to a player who has hardly played lately due to injuries and who spent most of last week bedridden with cold/flu (John Carew), and keeps handing out caps (as in games...) to players who haven't performed at all (like John Arne Riise and Morten Gamst Pedersen, just to mention a couple).

The only team I feel for this week is Scotland. As a team they are probably much better than England, who now looks to qualify. Indeed, had they played in any other group they would probably have qualified, but when you are up against teams like Italy, France and Ukraine you know you are in for a tough ride. The Scottish fans are lovely as well, never any problems, well behaved and support their team whatever happens, something you can't say for the fans south of the border (you know who I mean...).
