Arason is welcome back IMO, but Hirschfeld must be first choice. He hasn't disappointed so far, so putting Lars on the reserve bench would be wrong and injustice to him. I doubt if Arason will want to be reserve goalie somewhere, maybe he will await further offers?

Has Arni still not found a new club? Surely there must be a club who need an experienced international goalkeeper Confused

His hometown club in Iceland IA Akranes are looking for a keeper as first choice is injured for the next 3-4 months, and that leaves just a 17 and 16 year old..........so who knows what will happen

I really begin to wonder what Arni wants to do. He has rejected an offer from Sundsvall, 400 km east of Trondheim, where his wife and kid still live because of her studies at the university.

He must regret moving to City like nothing else. He could have been a Rosenborg legend by now.

looks like Arni could return to IA, if the IA keeper Palli Gisli Jonsson needs an operation then i am told Arni has said he will come to Akranes.

A real surpise move.

I guess former VÃ¥lerenga CEO Kjetil Siem has been involved, he's the CEO of the Premier Soccer League nowaday.
