Is there any tickets for RBK-Chelsea?

I'm considering booking on the Chelsea travel charter, which is very reasonable i think, for the day trip direct to Trondheim which includes match tickets. Only problem is that i would be in the wrong end! (And i presume i wouldn't be allowed to wear my RBK strip. Smile)

When are tickets normally released for Champions League games?

I can book flights from Aberdeen to Trondheim (via Bergen) but obviously price/availability will descrease the closer to the match date.

Rosenborg used to sell only packets with tickets to all three matches in Champions League. Aprox 18 000 of the 21 000 tickets are sold this way this year too, but now also single tickets are sold.

These tickets for the Schalke and Valencia were released the last Friday in front of the matches, so I guess the tickets for this match will be released Friday 23 November 12:00 CET.

There is only online sale at http://billett.rbk.no You should make a user account there already, and log on in good time (30 minutes) before the sale opens.

Thanks 2mas, i bought my RBK-Lillestrom tickets online there and have an account. It's a good service and the print out pdf saves having to collect/post tickets.

I was in BB of Bygger'n against LSK, i might try for the Adidas tribune against Chelsea although i'd take a ticket anywhere obviously. Smile

Quick update, i'm on the ticket waiting list but an even bigger problem, i can't get a hotel in Trondheim!

I maybe should have looked at it earlier but i started a new job and obviously i would like to hopefully get a ticket.

Thanks attach, i've sent them an email. I've also sent an email to the hotel at St Olav's, it would be quite good too i think. There is one hotel available at Hell (Rica) however this is a little bit more expensive. (I might have to go with it though.)

Starting to think i might have to go with the Chelsea fans from London and join them in the away end at the Lerkendal.

I have booked time off work but accomodation in Trondheim is looking very unlikely and at least this way i'm guaranteed a match ticket. (Albeit in the wrong end. Sad)

Still better than a TV screen in a pub. At least you will be in the stadium.

I would also be quite satisfed with the away supporters' section to be able to be at Lerkendal against Chelsea.

Our objective is still to secure the 3rd place, but now everything is possible. When it comes to this match, forgetting all the maths, I actually think it was quite good Chelsea didn't win in Gelsenkirchen. Now we won't face "hungry" reserves at Lerkendal, just "well fed" stars quite satisfied with a draw, securing their qualification. They even have a home match left, and this hopefully make them relax a bit more, improving our chances.

Let's do a bit of maths though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if Schalke draws with Valencia, we are sure of at least third place, or am I making a mistake here?

A win versus Chelsea would assure us of 1st or 2nd place, or can we still drop to 3rd place if Schalke would win its two remaining games then?

I'm not really good in maths, but it would be nice to know where exactly we're standing. Otherwise the remaining games will be even more nerve-wrecking Very Happy

We need one of these eight scenarios going through to the 1/8 finals in the Champions League.

1) Six points.

1) Four points.

3) Win against Schalke.

4) Draw against both Chelsea and Schalke.

5) Draw against Chelsea and loss against Schalke, if Valencia beat Schalke and Chelsea don't lose against Valencia.

6) Loss against Chelsea and draw against Schalke, if Valencia don't lose against Schalke and don't beat Chelsea.

7) Win against Chelsea and loss against Schalke, if Valencia don't lose against Schalke.

8) Rosenborg, Valencia and Schalke all end with 7 points if Rosenborg lose both matches, while Valencia win against Schalke and draw against Chelsea. Then the internal goal difference counts. Right now it is Rosenborg 4-2, Schalke 2-1 and Valencia 1-4.

Forum user "primaten" has used statistical methods to make these probability distributions for home/draw/away in these four matches:

Valencia - Schalke: 41 % - 26 % - 33%
Rosenborg - Chelsea: 33 % - 26 % - 41 %

Schalke - Rosenborg: 60 % - 20 % - 20 %
Chelsea - Valencia: 50 % - 30 % - 20 %

Statistically Rosenborg have these chances:

59% : ending top two
38% : ending 3rd
3% : ending 4th

In other words we have a 97% chance playing either Champions League or UEFA Cup after christmas!

Great!

P.S - Bad news regarding my quest to make this game, sadly the Chelsea charter is fully booked!

This means i have next to no chance of making the game due to lack of ticket/hotel. Looks like TV for me too, still will keep trying and offcourse should we progress to next stage of UEFA Cup/Champions League i will try again.

Looks good  As much as I would love us to qualify in Gelsenkirchen (I will be in the stadium), I hope that we'll be already sure after the Chelsea game. Otherwise the Schalke game will be really nerve-wrecking, so I hope to already be sure of at least 3rd place after the next home game. That would take the pressure away from the players for the Schalke trip as well.

Ricardo Carvalho could be out for up to eight weeks after injuring his back in Sunday's 1-1 home draw with Everton.

If confirmed, it will be another blow for Chelsea who already have Petr Cech, John Terry and Paulo Ferreira injured.

Good for us. Home win should be a formality, now we just have to trust Valencia getting a point or three against Schalke. Razz

As long as Drogba is alive and well I'm terrified. Rumor has it that he is unhappy with being in Chelsea right now. Let's hope he stirs up some shit before the game.

Well, a problem could be, that Cech, Carvalho and Terry are not the only good players in Chelseas team... Wink
To name the "world-allstars" are not necessary, we all know them well. But RBK has also strengths and we should rely on them. All in all, I would be happy with one point and Schalke not winning in Spain!

According to chelseafc.no will Cech, Terry and Malouda reach the match against Rosenborg. Carvalho and some random player are yet injured.

Definetly going now. Smile
