We aren't going to perform well in the CL, thats obvious with the defence we have.

- And Tampere fans think their team already have performed well in the CL.

There´s the difference between these teams.

I still can't believe we lost 0-3! Our finishing was just miserable while RBK gave us a lesson how to score goals. Our players needed to play at their best level, but that just didn't happen. The match showed that Rosenborg is a better team than Tampere and we still have a lot of steps to take to make it to the CL-group stage. Enough babbling, I'm still confident we will beat RBK 0-4 in the second leg Wink

If that happens, I`ll be the first to throw myself into a river. But I believe I`m safe. I liked Tampere`s fast contras, and I think you will be able to do well in the years to come. Hopefully in the uefa-cup this year, and not in CL Smile

Maybe we'll see you in the 3rd round of the UEFA Cup in March next year! Wink

Jari Litmanen was good.... however....

no norwegian or finnish player have been close to the offensive prowess of Henke Larsson! I think he could compete with the Laudrup brothers in being voted the best Nordic player of all time.

Laudrup brothers? You can't compare Brian with Michael. Michael is, without doubt, the greatest nordic footballer ever.

I second that. Although both of them were at their best before I became a real football fan, and started watching other teams than just RBK, I still know Michael was far better than his brother. And Larsson can not compete with what Michael Laudrup did for his clubs and country during the years.

M. Laudrup is in my opinion one of the top ten european footballers of all time, and as far as my knowledge goes, he wasn't too unlike Maradona. Both in skills and ability.

OK, he might be one of the better european players ever, but to draw comparisons to Maradona is pretty far off...

And I wouldn't under any sircumstances draw the comparison further.

I know I may have overstated quite a bit, but I said it's just as far as my knowledge goes, and I really only know Laudrup from the history books.
And they might not tell the whole story.

As always, players in attack get all the glory... Rune Bratseth could easily be called one of the best player's ever. Period.

What has Henke accomplished for his team?

He singlehandledly turned Barcelona around to beat Arsenal in the Champions' League final.

I consider the Spanish league to be the strongest one on the planet.

(yeah, yeah, english, italian, blablah...)

He energized Manchester United and helped them win their championship. Having come in with no prior background in the club.

AND

He kicked the crap out of us in Royal League... (hehe...)

Behave, or we'll make you play Kaerjeng again

Ho hum... well, as a fitting end to this thread, I think this will do fine:

Kuka Tampere?
