I was looking for this forum.
First runde vs Namsos, sounds an interesting place!
It's north of Trondheim i gather, would RBK fans be able to drive here comfortably? What division do they play in or are they amateurs? |

Yeah, no problem driving there. Takes about 3 hours, and E6 goes almost the entire way. Namsos is in 3. division, wich is the 4. level in the norwegian leaguesystem.
2. half have just started, RBK leads 0-2. _________________ Det er bedre å stupe ut i smørøyet enn å gå rundt grøten! |

They're in the third division and amateurs. Driving back and forth from Trondhjem is possible. Only 2-0. Embarrassing. |

Erik Hoftun's former club KIL/Hemne defeated Molde 3-1 today. Molde played with the strongest team they could start with... |

I was wondering about that, thought they'd rest players to concentrate on getting back into Tippeligaen. Guess not!
Comfortable for RBK, i guess both teams know the result is probably going to favour the team from the bigger league. Nice for Namsos to score albeit from a penalty. What sort of crowd would they get for a normal league game?, i assume RBK fans make up a large part of the attendance.
Anyone for a double? |

I think an attendance of 50 is the average on 3rd division matches in Namsos.
"Everyone" in Trøndelag is supporting Rosenborg even though they have 2nd or 3rd division clubs in their hometown. In other words: The spectators in Namsos were quite pleased with any result. |

Yeah, i think that is the same here although to a lesser extent. We have more smaller teams with larger supporters, i guess most so called rural fans in Scotland support either Rangers or Celtic.
What is the seeding situation in the Cup, can RBK get another Tippe/Adeccoligaen team in the next round or another smaller team?
If we make it to the final at Ullevaal, i'm going! |

The first three rounds are actually not drawn, just arranged by the NFF. The Tippeliga clubs play the first two rounds away against 2nd and 3rd division clubs, and give their opponents their "home match of the century". It has been like this for many years, and everyone seems to be pleased with it.
Usually the opponent even in the 3rd round is from 2nd division, but that depends on which clubs that are left in the tournament.
The 4th round, quarter and semi final are drawn. |

RBK were not as entertaining as the audience in Namsos had hoped.

It was good to see Alexander Lund Hansen get his first start as the teams new starting goalkeeper. Hopefully he does well in his new role. |

The 3rd goal was a great strike! Embarrasingly bad defending from Molde, they have'nt strengthened defensively which is surprising considering that's the reason they got relegated.
When is the next round drawn? |

The board of Kjernen did by way reward the KIL/Hemne players with free Dahls beer after their glorious win over Molde. |

Valerena are at 2-2 with Mjondalen at half-time, they were 2-0 down at one point. |

Currently 2-2, i think Kjernen should'nt have given them those Dahls!
They look very organised and one of the better amateur teams compared to Oygaard and Randaberg that played yesterday. |

Yes, it was a shocking match today. I'm ashamed. Did you watch several of the cup matches online? |

You have to credit KIL Hemne, they keep on fighting and turned the game into a scrap. I thought RBK have the game won after ET and in the end, we're lucky to avoid any further embarassment.
I watched the Brann game and caught a little of the VIF game. Just goes to show these teams can sometimes cause trouble to bigger teams, just ask Molde i suppose. Anyway, RBK is through and that is the main thing. Thankfully no long term injuries occured either, Dorsin looked to be struggling at one point. |

The RBK players should realy be ashamed of themself. Vidar Riseth alone makes more money than KIL/Hemne's total budget... |

Another bad match, this time against Skeid. The attackers were lazy and played badly. Even tough we needed extra time, I had a good feeling for victory. The reason: the defense was pretty good. |
