How did Carew miss that? Maybe he didn't.

Carew made that goal. Too bad for him, he's had a several chances.

4-0 Norway - Full Time

Well, I'm outa here folks. I need to get ready for our big game this afternoon.

USNT v Mexico in Azteca Stadium. The USNT is 0-22-1 when playing in Mexico for WCQ. This is OUR year!

Adios and well done my Norge friends.

Wink

Scotland outclassed.

Hoseth is getting back to his best, really controlled the midfield tonight. Surprised with recent form Rindaroy doesn't get a call up, likewise why Forren isn't in there. Norge defence still looked shaky and has conceded too many goals in this campaign.

Iversen didn't get a chance, likewise PCS. Carew is a bit special. I would have Jarstein in ahead of Knudsen though I'm not surprised he was overlooked. No Tarik either?

Scotland outclassed, but it was 11 against 10, with the first scoring just after the red card...

Hardly a situation where we can evaluate a team.

Actually until Caldwell brought two naive yellow cards upon himself, Norway was playing the same old crappy match...
The only glimpses of decency were Huseklepp attacking the space on his side, but again, hardly a coherent and consistent plan.

A-plan was "long ball to Carew, then we'll see what happens"

Actually I was wondering why fielding the midfielders at all, if they get systematically bypassed by a long pass from our own half.

However, good to see Norway win again, and *gasp* being even entertaining to watch for a little while Very Happy

Now NFF should apply to UEFA to get a special authorisation to play 11 against 10 by default...
