I was reading about this group who support whichever opposition that visits Lerkandal. What do RBK fans think of this?

Obviously, from an outsiders perspective, they have to pay money to get in and therefore this is good for RBK as it adds to the visiting fans numbers. However, there must be a little bit of annoyance that people from Trondheim (albeit maybe originally from somwhere else) are supporting the visitors and not RBK.

The student group is (in my eyes) not so bad as it sounds. The members are mostly just interested in watching good football, and by grouping, they can sit/stand together and get some discount.

Yes, that's the impression i get too. However should RBK not try and get them to join the home supporters?

It's quite rare to have people from the city/town supporting the opposition but then as the article i read states, they are NTNU students from across Norge that support other teams like Viking, Sandefjord, VIF etc.

As far as I know, none of these students are locals. They are all of them from other towns and presumeably all of them have ties to other clubs.

So, trying to 'convert' them to RBK fans would be pretty useless, as long as their hearts truly lie elsewhere. Nobody likes a traitor anyway...

As long as they pay ticket fares and add to the spectator numbers and the general spectacle, they're welcome.
