Kinda interesting news: Juventus did NOT manage to win their first league game in Serie B. It was their first ever competitive game outside of Serie A, and they only got a draw versus Rimini. They took the lead rapidly through a goal by Paro, but Rimini levelled in the second half.

Interesting to see. Even with their very strong team (Buggon, Camoranesi, Kovac, Boumsong, Nedved, Del Piero) they didn't win this one. Of course, they'll win lot of other games, but this is maybe an indication that it won't be a walk-over and easy promotion?

Also, I think Buffon and Camoranesi will still leave. At first Buffon said he would stay with Juve for life, then after a few weeks he said he kinda felt like a new challenge, then after another few weeks he said he'd be happy to leave if both himself and Juventus would get a good deal... Camoranesi has stated from the beginning he didn't feel like Serie B, so I'm sure he will leave as soon as the right offer comes.

JUVENTUS: Buffon, Birindelli, Kovac, Boumsong, Chiellini; Marchionni (33’ s.t. Camoranesi), Giannichedda (18’ Bojinov), Paro, Nedved; Del Piero (40’ s.t. Palladino), Zalayeta.
A disposizione: Mirante, Balzaretti, Marchisio, Guzman.
All. Deschamps

Juventus won their first Serie B home game: 2-1 vs Vicenza. Again a very close difference, Juve seems not to be in good form yet.

I really hope the Italian court decides NOT to reduce their punishment. If someone commits fraude, one has to bear the consequences. The fraude has been proven, I find it really low that Juventus even goes to a higher court, it's like they think they're above the law and like they feel they can do whatever they want without ever getting punished for it. Of course, Lazio and Fiorentina should have been relegated too, but that doesn't mean we now have to close our eyes towards what Juventus it. I somehow find this not fair towards clubs who follow the rules of fair-play ; what is becoming of our beloved sport when a rich club even stands above the law? To set a sign and precedent, it would be justified to keep the punishment intact, it'd be the ONLY right decision.

Juventus won 4 out of their first 5 games now, and won most of them with ease... They're at -4 and less than 20 points behind the leaders.
