Yep, they seem to have lost the plot completely. I will be very surprised if they manage anything in the CL qualifiers this autumn...

Perhaps if they get rid of their coach. But then again, I'm not sure i'd like them to do that. They might become a competent team again... Wink

I hope they qualify to the third stage, meet us, we beat them and qualify to the champions for the second time in our short history.

If that happens Maccabi will become a popular team in Norway.

Krøvel is actually not ironic. Vålerenga is a hated club.

I don't care which team we beat to qualify its the point that being there is fun, going to their games and bringing big clubs to play in Israel and the money it gives to the club.

There might be a big change for Israel since we are ranked 16th and Greece were kicked out from FIFA and UEFA so that makes us 15th (sending 2 teams to the CL qualifiers) and then Maccabi Haifa will be seeded in the 3rd round and that makes us getting better chances to qualify.

Maccabi Haifa have a coefficient of just 19, so they won't be seeded.

Nevertheless I think FIFA ban will removed within days.

Rosenborg's coefficient has been like around 30-35 the last years. In the "old days" this wasn't been enough to become seeded in the 3rd qualifying round, but because of many "underdogs" qualifying from the bigger European leagues, we have been seeded the last years. So we had been if we had qualified this year too.

As expected: FIFA lifts suspension on Hellenic Football Federation

By the way:

"Lillestrom will come here having played a league game in midweek, and that will be one of the biggest problems for us, to overcome their match fitness," Newcastle manager Glenn Roeder says.
