Rosenborg are used to play away in European cup matches. The players don't care about thousands of enthusiastic Zenit-fans... They focus on playing football! With the result in the previous game, Zenit probably will go through to the next round, but nothing is certain yet!

If we score the first goal, anything can happen! Even if you score first, anythng can happen... we MUST score at least 3 goals to win anyhow, bacause If the match goes to penalties, I am CERTAIN that Zenit will win Rolling Eyes

(That means that you can't beat us on away goals... )

We have had a few good results/matches away in europe during the last years!

Actually the whole setting reminds me about the UEFA Cup matches against Red Star in 2003. Then we played a shitty home match too (0-0), but manage to win 1-0 in Belgrade, where Red Star hadn't lost a match in many years. Now we just have to double our score. Wink

Zenit in a season 2004 played with Red Star in cup UEFA and has won house 4-0 and on a visit half an alternating cast has won 2-1. Smile

As Zenit in a season 2004 played houses with AEK from Greece in a group round of cup UEFA and has won house 5-1.

I don't think there will be so many travelling from Trondheim. Maybe just 70-80 persons including the club sponsors. But I think Norwegians living in St. Petersburg will probably show up at the stadium.

Rosenborg have many years in Champions League and several runs in the UEFA-cup. They players have experienced both pressure and noisy supporters, so I don't think fireworks and chanting supporters will shock them!

Let's concentrate on cheering them on to a good game!

Yes it is old stadium recently has celebrated the 80 years!!! This stadium mismatches modern standards, but for Zenit there is begun construction new is modern stadium on 50 thousand person, it will be constructed in 2008-2009.
And the old stadium, despite of the will be obsolete during game to rage as a boiling boiler. Not important what stadium - important what fans.
