Looks like some time ago Dinamo Bucharest fans invaded the forum to celebrate Rosenborg's victory over Steaua Bucharest in the third qualifying round of the Champions League. I hate Steaua too but I think it was undeserved of Rosenborg to qualify back then. Mikael Dorsin played in those games.
If you are interested in CFR Cluj visit our site (it's not the official one but it's still cool): www.cfronline.3x.ro and post in our English Section. It's designed by us amateurs so don't be too harsh. Also check out this video made by me, with almost all the goals of the first part of the season scored by CFR Cluj. http://www.youtube.com/wa...mFu7ds3UWw |

Hello Rosenborg fans... Lars seems to blend in nicely here at CFR Cluj. He made his debut for the team comming in from the bench and quite saving our *** in a friendly against Energie Cottbus, which ended 0-0. He kept the goal safe and made some remarkable saves. I'm sure he's gonna be our numer 1 keeper for the rest of the season. Greetz from Romania. |

Dorsin looks solid too. He's been capped again for Sweden to face some friendlies. Our coach sais that both players are Champions League players. |

didn't we tell you that Lars would be your nr 1 goalkeeper very soon? He is very solid and really reliable. You have made a really great purchase and I am sure he will be amongst the best keepers in the Romanian league soon. When he first came to Norway, a local Tromsø paper called him "TIL's best ever goalkeeper" while he was only 2 months at the club. At Rosenborg he immediately became first choice and never lost his place in the team again.
Please do come back to our forum to keep us updated. I would be very curious to hear about how Lars and Mikael are doing in Romania. _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

It was only in their final fixture prior to Romania's winter break, in fact, that Ioan Andone's CFR conceded their long unbeaten record, this just weeks after they had become the first provincial side in 48 years to reach the halfway point of the season without tasting defeat. It was Steagul Rosu Brasov who managed this feat all the way back in the 1959/60 season, and though these underdogs ultimately saw the title snatched away by CCA Bucharest - as Steaua were then named - CFR are confident that lightning will not strike twice.

Funny how that website showed all the goals at the same time.
Anyhow, it's gonna be interesting to see how these guys will adapt to the new league and how good Cluj really are against european teams. _________________

I cannot understand that your leaders in CFR Cluj want to pay so much for Dorsin(wage). He is ok in defensive, but have limited abilities to attack. Our new left back Nordvik is a much better player technical and far better pace, but do not have the same experience of course. |

Hey, every goalkeeper makes a mistake now and then. Lars has the bad luck that it happens on a crucial moment in a top-of-the-table game, but that doesn't suddenly make him a bad goalkeeper. I hope this won't make a difference to his position as nr 1 goalkeeper in Cluj Napoca. _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

Hello Rosenborg fans. Mikael Dorsin scored in today's 2-1 win over Farul Constanta. He made it 1-1 after a free-kick and gave us hope to win the game, which eventually happened.

However, sad to say, both Dorsin and Hirschfeld have been rather inconsistent up to this point. Especially Hirschfeld, 'thanks' to that regretable mistake against Steaua. Since then, Nuno Claro (our second choice goalkeeper) has taken up his place in the goal.
But we CFR Cluj fans know that both of them are quality players and the only problem is that they need time to adapt to our style of play. Even so, Dorsin will most likely be our first choice LB straight away, the only problem is with Lars who has quality competition for the GK position but I am optimistic about his chances too.
In any case, we CFR Cluj supporters wish Rosenborg best of luck. If you want to check out how our team is faring in the league, visit www.cfrmania.ro or www.cfronline.ro for the only CFR Cluj forum. |

Mikael Dorsin and Lars Hirschfeld have both played 90 minutes in our 2-1 away victory against Dinamo Bucharest last Sunday. CFR Cluj are maintaining three points clear second placed Steaua Bucharest with only 8 games to go in the league. |

So Lars played again? Is he back first choice goalkeeper or was he playing in absence of Nuno Claro ? _________________ Rosenborg, forever pride of the North!

Hirschfeld (injured) and Dorsin (sub) did not play, but will celebrate hard tonight after Cluj secured the title on a penalty. Congrats!
Cluj are directly qualified for the group stage in Champions League. |

I can only but assume that a certain Mr Gigi Becali must be gutted, as rumours will have it he has spent a small fortune on dodgy refereeing decisions to see his team Steaua win the league. But if 2nd place grants them (Steaua) the possibility of playing in the qualifiers for the Champions League , I fear we somehow haven't seen the last of Mr Becali in European football just yet |

Because of their good UEFA Cup campaign in 2005/06, Steaua are seeded in the 3rd qual. round, so they most likely will qualify this time too. |

Hello everyone! Yes, it is true. We have won the league. And also the Romanian Cup. We are very happy to achieve this and we are also quite satisfied that we have managed to disappoint Mr Becali.
On the other hand, Lars has been injured for a long time and Micke is having problems adapting to our style of play. But everything will be solved next season when we will play in the Champions League group stages. Hopefully we will atleast achieve the performance of Rosenborg Ballklub by qualifying in the UEFA Cup.
By the way, rumour has it that our club is once again interested in the services of Yssouf Kone. They say he is really close to sealing a contract for our team. What is your opinion on this?
Good luck to Rosenborg in the league and in the UEFA Intertoto Cup. I'm sure you'll qualify for the UEFA Cup and win the title. Don't forget to visit our site: www.cfronline.ro.

Dorsin is transfer-listed and given a fine of €10,000 after revealing for Adresseavisen that he won't stay in Cluj until his contract expires in three years.
I won't be surprised if he wants to return to Rosenborg (his partner is from Trondheim), but I'm not sure RBK want to spend money (small transfer fee + pretty good salary) on another left back after paying 6M NOK for Dorsin's original replacement, Roy Miller. |

Unfortunately, Dorsin and Hirschfeld did not become accustomed to Romanian football. Although Dorsin played well in last year's Champions' League and he is an international, he seems a player who has a very slow reaction time. Also his acceleration his quite poor. I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave this summer.
On the other hand, Hirschfeld just had bad luck as he made a very poor first impression scoring an owngoal in a crucial game. Otherwise, he played very well and even had a few good saves later on. Besides, judging from his declarations in the press, Hirschfeld seems to me to be a professional 100%. He is the kind of player that any team at this level would need to have. In my opinion, he'll without a doubt be the starting goalie next season if he plays as he usually does.
By the way, if any of you guys want to follow these players' careers while their at CFR, feel free to access the CFR english website at cfrcluj.net, as well as the forum. |
