National stadium? That's not the same arena as in August when we visited you?

No, it's not the same. Our usual stadium, Ghencea, is getting renovated right now (new pitch, an extra 10,000 seats, etc). So, right now we're "stuck" with the National Stadium.

Well, a lukewarm night for Romanian teams: great victory from Rapid against Hamburg, goalless draw for Steaua against Betis.

Rapid Bucharest - Hamburg SV 2-0
Steaua Bucharest - Betis Sevilla 0-0

This looks like the end of the road for Steaua in this year's European cups. Very best of luck to Rapid, and let's hope for a miracle in Sevilla Sad

Real Betis haven't shown great form this season, so your miracle may happen!

0-0 at home isn't a very bad result... 1-1 is much worse.

I'd say you have an ok chance to go through...!

Rapid went to the quarter finals. Let's keep our fingers crossed today for Steaua. Wink

what you mean? we going to the next round. tommorow we will know whos next will play vs Zenit. Guys i only cant understand 1.... Why you all think easy win vs Zenit? Mad in OM forum all says its gonna be 5-0 OM- Zenit. And now they cry.. Or if Cska won Uefa cup in 2004/2005 then others Russian teams are sucks? :S If you won vs Loko 2-0 with Amazing goal your keeper its problem by Loko. They lose many primary players. Anyway i hope Zenit will show his game. Zenit allways like play Attack. Not how OM.... Camp many time and try score 1 goal.

And before match OM -Zenit almost all FRance fans says we are very lucky for take Zenit. Why? Why dont Levski , Rapid, Udineze, or another teams? or they better? :S. i know game of Zenit impressed you. But after match vs Zenit. dont before. Europeans often underestimate the contender

Before the matches, only previous results scares the opponent. Zenit ended at sixth place in Russia last year, and had not that many good results in European cups until this year. At the same time you were off season.

Because of this, our coach, me and everyone else were satisfied with the draw; clubs like Roma, Hamburg and AZ Alkmaar seemed harder. This was really not the same as claiming "an easy win".

That's really impressive! I think it's great that underdogs like Steaua and Zenit have done so great in the UEFA Cup this season. Wish you both good luck in the draw tomorrow!
