Rosenborg Vs Shelbourne (hopefully)

If shelbourne beat Steaua next week then we are going to play your team Rosenburg in the third round. Rosenburg dont seem to be on the form they have been in previous years so how do you rate your team. Shelbourne have improved a lot since we last met

Rosenborg have been worsened every year since we met you, but because of lack of real challenge in the domestic league, we still have won the championships.

Last year we played badly, but nevertheless won enough matches to become champions. This season we play badly and neither do win the matches. Therefore our fanastic line of 13 league championships in a row sadly will be broken.

Qualifying for the Champions League will therefore our small comfort.

i agree that your club is in probably the worst form it has seen in over a decade. I dont know if you will be in Europe next season and Im not sure if you will go straight into the group stages this season. Shelbourne are a club much improved since we last played each other.

I think Shelbourne and Steaua might be stronger than Rosenborg at this stage.

we have yet to beat Steaua . the second leg is on wednesday night and its currently 0-0. Steaua tried their hardest to score against us but couldnt. So we just need a scoring draw to meet Rosenborg for the third round.

I think if can beat Steaua we can beat Rosenborg or at least give you a very good run for your money. We have a summer season now and the teams are a lot stronger in ireland (apart from Longford). We went full time professional since we last met I believe and signed some of the better players in the league so its going to be close.

Is Rosenborg a team in decline, i know they have done so well winning for like a decade but all runs come to an end sooner or later and this might just be it for you.

I have to say I think we'll cope with Shels, but Steaua might be a bit of a challenge. They knocked out Valencia in the UEFA Cup in March, and will most likely knock you too out on Wednesday.

I dont know how both Steaua and Rosenborg are so confident about making the group stages. Both your clubs are hardly exactly in the best form they have ever been in.

The Steaua manager is a fanatic facist and i think there is lots of problems in the camp with him.

As for Crowe, he is a legend in Irish club football. He doesnt eat all the muffins and will be on fire come wednesday when we meet steaua.

Yes of the three sides Rosenborg definetly has the most experience in playing in Europe. However just because you have the experience doesnt mean you will qualify automatically. Lots of clubs slip up in the 2nd and 3rd qualifying round.

Rosenborg are not the team they were. Shels have improve but not by a quantum leap and the game will be tough for us if we manage to turn Steaua over. I think it will be very tight.

We have a massive game on Wednesday, I really cant wait. I hope so much that we can win and play Rosenborg again. It has been such a long time and I think the two clubs are going in slightly opposition directions from where they were.

If I get to choose Shelbourne or Steua, I would surely choose the Irish. I think Rosenborg are much much better than any irish team, no matter how weak our form is.

Steua is also a team we should beat, but the away game may be more difficult there, than in Ireland.

I admit that anything can happen with the form we are in now, but if we don't beat Steua or Shelbourne on aggregate, we are hopeless. None of these teams are capable of beating any other Tippeliga team, as I see it, so why shouldn't we?

i dont know about that. Shelbourne are a very changed side since we last met. The summer soccer and full time set up is really helping us along with a more intensive training regieme. We havent done so well in the league this season thats because Cork is so strong at the moment..

Deportivo came to dublin last year and couldnt get a goal. I think if we make it through then Rosenborg will find it very difficult to score also. there will only be 1 or 2 goals in it.

If Steaua beat us then they will beat Rosenborg. Unless you have a sudden U turn in form. You have been in decline for a number of years now and Im sorry to say I cant see Rosenborg in the group stages of the CL this season.
