New year, new season on its way.
UEFA.com have already written a little preview for the Tippeliga 2005, which kicks off 10 April:
«With Rosenborg BK having win the Norwegian title for the 13th time in succession in 2004, Vålerenga IF and SK Brann are the sides who look most likely to be challenging them in 2005.»

Just because VÃ¥lerengen came on the 2nd. place, and Brann won the cup and have new good players on the PAPER. Does'nt it mean that they will be the best challangers THIS season. |

Not traditionally, no. But Brann looks very, very strong ... |

Well of course it is no guarantee, but the same can be said about Rosenborg. Just because we have a strong economy and good players on the paper doesn't mean that we will win next season.
My point it that nothing is certain, but it is BECAUSE Brann and VÃ¥lerenga have good players on the paper that they are seen as the prime contenders and the most likely to suceed in beating us. _________________ Sliter

Things are not going our way in the league this season.
Here's a comprehensive match report from last Sunday's game: Aalesunds FK vs Rosenborg BK 2-1
Hopefully we can turn things a bit around tonight against Bodø/Glimt. |

Thanks, s0me1.
We really needed this victory now. Good for the team, as well as for us fans.
We have struggled this season indeed. I think it's because of our trainer/manager Per Joar Hansen. But I've already talk to much about that subject. We just have to see what happens - and hope for the best!
It's Champions League time soon, and whatever opponent, we will play at our best. Our season last year was not our best eigher, but we still kicked Maccabi Haifa's ass in the qual. |

This time we were more lucky than good. Especially after the first half. We could easily have been under by a couple of goals. Luckily we didn't and we got the 3 points in the end.

A new coach and some time to work things out, and we'll be back on track

I'm sure u will win against Fredikstad next round because they lost 5 of their last 6 and that game they won was against Tromso from 12th place.
I'll put my money on ur team _________________ Fan of Steaua Bucharest !!! |

Fredrikstad are led by Egil Olsen, the former national team coach, and he has time after time proved to be clever destroying the opponent's game; they won 1-0 home against us. I am therefore not sure what RBK are capable of on Wednesday. Hopefully we get at least one point. |

We are going for 3 points!
Those lucky bastards stole 3 points from us on Lerkendal this spring,
it's time to teach them a lesson |

I'm hope the return of Bjørn Tore Kvarme on the right back position will add som defensive stability for us today. Furthermore I believe Eguren will continue on his solid secondhalf on sunday and I hope he will serve Helstad and Johnsen with game-winning passes not unlike his forplay to Johnsens goal against BodøGlimt.
However, I hope Thomas Myhre and Kvisvik eat som bad Kebab and get the runs so they can't play. Then I am sure RBK will win. _________________ Ljuskraft...bang booom! Bli arg! |

It's a bad sign if our only chance to win, is if Fredrikstads two class players, Myhre and Kvisvik are injured. If we can't beat a fully fit Fredrikstad team, then I believe we are better off in the first division, than in Tippeligaen. _________________ Rosenborg - Ingen over, ingen ved siden |

Hopefully the victory against Bodo starts a machine called Rosenborg. And the machine will rise and rise. I bet on Rosenborg in Fredrikstad so I hope I will win .

The Rosenborg players showed no determination or effort in the 1st half, and we were 0-3 down in front of the 2nd half after Fredrikstad had played their best 30 minutes of football ever (at least the last 50 years). Then we improved a bit, but it was too late. Fredrikstad's 4-1 and 5-1 goals came when we had given up. |

Espen Johnsen made it easy for Start yesterday. The hometeam scored on three of their four first goal attempts, after two big mistakes from the Rosenborg goalkeeper. Then Johnsen was sent off after a foul on hattrick hero Todi Jónsson.
Now a top 4 place will be very hard for us. Instead we should focus on gaining 30 points, securing the place in the Premier division, as Hoegmo says. |

It is so cruel for RBK. After many titles ->9th place? People in the Czech Republic who are interested in football are surprised. Rosenborg - the team which is almost every year in the Champions League and which is the number one in Norway has such problems? What´s happened?
Maybe Rosenborg needs this season to wake up. It is obvious - norwegian footbal perhaps needs a change - and the change comes. Players should finish this season as well as possible, I think 4th place (10 points) is real. And a next season will promt more.

Rosenborg - Lyn 0-1
Another league match and another loss - the 4th in a row, the 7th in last 9 league matches...
Two minutes into added time, RBK was awarded a penalty kick, but Winsnes hitted the bar. The 10th miss in 13 penalty kicks the last two seasons!
Nothing goes our way this year (except in European cups), but I think relegation is no option. I really don't think three of the four teams below us can pass us. Play off against the 3rd placed 1 Division team is "worst case" in my eyes. |

what is wrong with this team? I have never see a team capitulate like this from champions one season to possible relegation the next? Please the league has not strengthened that much. It is a shame there will not be any european comp. next season. I though still love this club just very sad about the way they have played. It is time to say goodbye to the older players. |

they have been making great progress with their new coach.
next match frode "no talent at all" johnsen is not playing because of yellow cards. therefore the chances of winning against viking fk away are very great indeed. |
