Arrow The UEFA Nations League will be composed of four leagues, with each league divided into four groups of 3 to 4 teams

Arrow The 55 participating teams are split into four leagues, A–B–C–D, according to their strength

Arrow League A will include the top-ranked teams, League D the lowest-ranked sides

Arrow Leagues A and B will consist of four groups of three teams

Arrow League C will comprise one group of three teams and three groups of four sides

Arrow League D will be formed by four groups of four teams

Arrow In the first edition of the competition, the participating sides will be classified according to the UEFA national team coefficient rankings (ranking as per 15 November 2017, i.e. conclusion of 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers)

Arrow In each league, four group winners are promoted (or play in the Final Four, see below) and four teams are relegated for the next competition to be played in 2020

Arrow The overall UEFA Nations League rankings will determine the composition of the draw pots for the subsequent European Qualifiers

Arrow In addition, the UEFA Nations League will provide teams with another chance to qualify for the UEFA EURO final tournament, with four sides qualifying through play-off matches which take place in March 2020 (see below).

What are the lyrics to the UEFA Nations League Anthem?

Gibraltar lost 2-0 to FYR Macedonia last night but put on a brave fight during a feisty second half that had fans at the sell-out match on tenterhooks in the hope their side would clutch a win from the jaws of defeat in their first official match on home soil.

The result was disappointing, but the game, particularly in the second half, left the stadium abuzz with enthusiasm and pride under the shadow of the Rock.

This was Gibraltar’s debut in the Nations League and the first official international match at home since joining UEFA.

Marking the occasion, players faced and turned to the Rock as the national anthem rang out across the stadium at the start of the match.

16.01
Sixteen teams enter the play-offs, which are played in four separate paths of four teams each, to determine the remaining four teams that qualify for the final tournament.

16.02
To determine the 16 teams that enter the play-offs, the following principles apply in the order given:

a. Four play-off slots are allocated to each league from UEFA Nations League D to UEFA Nations League A, i.e. in reverse alphabetical order.

b. The UEFA Nations League group winners enter the play-offs unless they have qualified for the final tournament directly from the qualifying group stage.

c. If a UEFA Nations League group winner has directly qualified for the final tournament, the next best-ranked team in the relevant league ranking (see Regulations of the UEFA Nations League) which has not directly qualified will enter the play-offs.

d. If fewer than four teams from one league enter the play-offs, the remaining slots are allocated on the basis of the overall UEFA Nations League rankings (see Regulations of the UEFA Nations League) to the best-ranked of the teams that have not already qualified for the final tournament, subject to the restriction that group winners cannot be in a play-off path with higher-ranked teams.

16.03
The UEFA administration conducts a draw to allocate teams to the different playoffs path, starting with UEFA Nations League D, subject to the following conditions:

a. A group winner cannot form a path with a team from a higher-ranked league in the overall UEFA Nations League rankings.

b. If four or more teams from a league enter the play-offs, a path with four teams from the league in question must be formed.

c. Additional conditions may be applied, subject to approval by the UEFA Executive Committee, including seeding principles and the possibility of final tournament host associations having to be drawn into different paths.

........

Smile

Nettopp.

Tror kanskje Serbia kvaller direkte...
