A renewed Memorandum of Understanding for the period 2012-2018 was signed today between UEFA and the European Club Association (ECA) on the occasion of the XXXVI Ordinary UEFA Congress in Istanbul, Turkey.

(...)

Insurance

Pending FIFA’s takeover of such package on a worldwide level, UEFA will establish an insurance covering the injury risk of players while on international team duty. This insurance is valid for all players registered with a European club, irrespective of their nationality, and for all matches mentioned in the international calendar, including both official and friendly matches as from June, for the start of the UEFA EURO 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.

Participation of clubs in the benefits of the UEFA EURO

Clubs will now receive an increased amount of € 100 Million from the UEFA EURO 2012 revenues, as recognition of the significant contribution of clubs to the success of the tournament. This amount will be further increased to € 150 Million for the UEFA EURO 2016 in France.

Good Governance / club representation in decision-making process

In the future, the Club Competitions’ Committee, composed essentially of club representatives, will have a "Referral Right" on all decisions affecting club competitions. This reinforces the involvement of clubs in UEFA’s decision-making process.

International Calendar

To support the proposed future international calendar (so-called Status Quo Plus) that will be presented to the FIFA Executive Committee next week for approval. This calendar should basically be made up of 9 double-headers over a 2 year period with no single friendlies. The August friendly match date would be removed.

Klubb 2010/11: 1/3
Klubb 2011/12: 1/3
Klubb under EM: 1/3

UEFA medregner 14 dager forberedelser pluss én hjemreisedag.

Tommel'n opp!

Syns Adressa surrer fælt med å trekke Dorsin inn i emnet. Sjansen må da være langt større for at tidl.

Tommel'n opp!

Quote:
To facilitate cooperation and achieve the shared objectives set out in this Agreement, UEFA undertakes as follows:

(...)

C.5 to distribute every four years an amount (hereinafter the “Distribution Amount”) from the UEFA European Football Championship (hereinafter the “UEFA EURO”) benefits to national associations for them to pass on to their clubs who have contributed to the successful staging of a UEFA EURO or national team football in general. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, the Distribution Amount shall be allocated and distributed in accordance with the rules and methodology specified in the “2008 MoU”. The Parties intend to establish new specific distribution criteria based on fair and democratic principles, prior to the respective UEFA EURO final tournaments.

Quote:
1. Subject to FIFA approval, the new International Match Calendar pattern (Status Quo Plus) shall enter into force immediately after the FIFA World Cup 2014 Brazil final tournament and last – with no amendments – at least until 31 May 2018.

2. It shall include 9 double headers over a period of two years, as follows (see example in Annex 2.a):

o Year 1 (e.g. 2014/15): double headers in September, October, November, March, June;

o Year 2 (e.g. 2015/16): double headers in September, October, November, March;

o In addition, one double header in early June of the UEFA EURO-year, i.e. 2016, exclusively for the non-European associations and subject to a global agreement with FIFA on similar grounds as the present MoU. This double header shall be used for qualification games.

3. Double headers are defined as periods of 9 days starting on a Monday morning, and ending on Tuesday night the following week, which are reserved to national teams’ activities, including a preparation period and a maximum of 2 matches played by each national team, irrespective of whether these matches are qualifiers or friendlies. National team matches can be staged any day as from Wednesday within the release period, provided that a minimum of two full days are left between matches of the same team. Players will travel to their national teams on Monday morning at the latest and travel back to their clubs the following week on Wednesday morning at the latest.

4. For European national teams, if the second match of a double header is a friendly, it has to be played in Europe.

Avslutningsvis:

In time for the start of the UEFA EURO 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, ECA is proud to announce that a so-called Club Protection Program will be in place, at UEFA's expense, to cover the injury risk of players released for the national team.

For the first time, at the 2020 tournament, the clubs' financial benefits from UEFA EURO will be calculated as a percentage of the total gross revenue. Clubs will receive 8% of income from broadcast, commercial and ticketing/hospitality, with the minimum set at €200m - a €50m increase on the clubs' share of UEFA EURO 2016 revenues.

(...)

UEFA President Michel Platini added:

"I am very pleased that we have extended our partnership with the ECA until 2022. I have always believed that UEFA should work together with national associations and clubs in order to find the best ideas and solutions for European Football. I look forward to seeing our relationship continue to blossom in the future as we make sure that our collective interests are promoted and protected. I would also like to thank the ECA chairman, Kalle Rummenigge for his efforts throughout the many years of our cooperation. It has been a pleasure to work with him."

Quote:
Clubs receive an equal share per player released for each qualifying match, and a fixed amount per player per day for the final tournament, weighted with the FIFA categorisation of clubs for training compensation

Based on the mechanism for distribution of the payments as approved by the UEFA Executive Committee, €100m was shared among clubs releasing players for the final tournament of UEFA EURO 2016, and the remaining €50m among those clubs which released players for the qualifying competition of UEFA EURO 2016, irrespective of whether the national team in question qualified or not.

Denne er faktisk ikke nevnt:

Part of the agreement governs the distribution of club benefits generated by the FIFA World Cup based on the model developed for the 2010 and 2014 tournaments: a total of $209m will be distributed among the clubs releasing players to the World Cups in 2018 and 2022 respectively.

The amount per player per day, split amongst the clubs where the players were registered during the seasons 2016/17 and 2017/18 (including the period of the World Cup itself), has been fixed at $8,530 (compared to $2,800 in 2014). The player per day calculation starts 14 days prior to the opening game and ends the day after the last match of the national teams in question.

Altså noe mer enn gjettinga mi på 8400 dollar. Tommel'n opp!
