did you qualify to the confrence league playoff rounds for next year? I am asking beacause you finished 4th but the cup final is between two teams who didnt finish in the top 4, so how does it work in norway

Four teams qualify from the league, plus the winner of the cup final, so five in total.

If one of the top 4 teams in the league also win the cup, the team finishing 5th in the league also qualify.

In other words, if Molde had scored on the HUGE chance they got in extra time yesterday, we would be sitting with fingers crossed that Molde wins the cup final next weekend, as that would get us into Europe even when finishing 5th. Instead, the stars aligned, we finished 4th, and will enter q2 of the Conference League qualifiers next season.
